This job will include the regular inspection, installation and maintenance of 480 volt, 3-phase circuits and low voltage electrical systems, distribution of switch gear and transformers, pulling of cable systems, troubleshooting PLC systems, instrumentation and other general electrician duties concerning maintenance and operation of electrical equipment. This facility will operate around the clock so candidate must have a valid drivers license and available for call-in. The ability to document maintenance performed in log format and maintain receipts for costs of such maintenance will be required. The ability to communicate with others to maintain the facility will also be required. Due to the chemicals handling in the facility, safety, security and the environment will be the central focus of all policies. The facility will utilize policy and procedure to insure a safe operating environment, so all employees will be trained and tested in these aspects of the job, on a continuous basis. Experience and Skills for Electrician (Required) •Troubleshooting and repairing industrial instrument loop components, including pressure, temperature, level and flow loops •Troubleshooting and repairing AC and DC electrical circuits up to and including 480 Volts •Experience with Distributive Control Systems, operative concepts and maintenance •Experience with power cabling, distribution of switchgear and transformers and PLC systems •2+ years experience as Plant Electrician in an Industrial Environment, with actual Instrumentation & Electrical experience •A successfully completed, accredited vocational course of training directly related to the Instrumentation & Electrical job scope •Communicates well with others via written and spoken English •Ability to lift 50 pound loads •Be able to work without direct supervision •Be willing to work a rotating shift schedule (Preferable) •4+ years experience as Plant Electrician in an Industrial Environment •Documentation of inspection generated from PM and PdM work •Computer Skills •FirstAid and CPR In addition to an hourly wage, we offer health, dental, vision and disability benefits, as well as a competitive 401K retirement plan.
